Discovering Local History

Curious about the history of your local area? Interested in learning how to uncover the past yourself? Join us for the first in a new series of local history courses. Explore history on the ground as we begin with a guided walk (optional) then come along to three classes where you will find out about the development of your local area over the last 300 years. Classes will be informal and interactive using historical evidence to inspire questions and discussion. We are starting with Netherlee as we chart its journey from the 18th century to present day with our expert tutor Dr. Stuart Nisbet. No previous knowledge or experience is necessary.
